Child Trust Fund Week, events held

Child Trust Fund activities

Child Trust Fund Week was about giving parents the opportunity, and support, to find out all they need to know about the Child Trust Fund (CTF). We gave tips on saving and encouraged the whole family to get involved - so they can really make the most of their child's CTF account.

Organisations held a number of activities to help promote the CTF such as CTF coffee mornings, ante natal groups, baby clubs, display areas, play and stay activities, drop in sessions and other events.

Activities took place across the country. The following organisations took part. Please contact an organisation near you for more information.

Feedback from organisers who ran activities throughout CTF week

‘We operate play and stay activities where parents can come and play with their children (0-3mths). We plan to raise awareness of the child trust fund and generally signpost parents/carers in the right direction. Even if we raise awareness enough for parents to invest their voucher in the given time, I feel this will be a worthwhile thing.’

Tina from NCH Adwick Acorns Children’s Centre

‘Thanks for your hard work and congratulations on putting together such an accessible set of resources.’

Paula Turton from Lifeline Parenting
