You do not need to open a Child Trust fund account to receive the money. Please contact the Child Trust Fund Helpline on 0845 302 1470 to advise them that your child has died. The Child trust Fund Office will then write to you to arrange for a direct Child Trust Fund payment to your child's personal representative.
