Q. What happens if I want to change the type of account?
A.Speak to your provider to discuss the types of Child Trust Fund (CTF) account that they have available.  If they don't offer a suitable CTF account you may need to consider changing provider.

Q. What happens if I want to change provider?
A. All you need to do is sign up with a new provider, who will then let your existing provider know. The new provider will tell HM Revenue & Customs so that any further Government payments will go into the right account. The new provider will then send you the statements telling you how much money the child has in the account.
